3 Steps To Help You Recover From Grief

Grief can hit us at any moment in life, what is important is what we do following that moment.  This grief can manifest as a ‘rough day,’ where we just feel the daily oppression sitting on top of us and not letting us breathe; possibly the darkest hours of the loss of a loved one, that leaves us stuck in depression.  When this realization hits that grief has immersed us we must find the will to move forward and help ourselves.  Life is precious and gratefulness is everything, we must be grateful that we are in the here and now.  You, more than anyone else, possess the power to help take back your life.  Let us take this journey together and help bring back that harmony so that we can move forward.  Because we are living and we must treasure each moment with love, love for ourselves then, love for others.

Here are 3 simple steps we can do to rid us of our grief and open ourselves to the healing light to reawaken happiness and truth in our lives.

  1. Chant ‘Om’: The power of chanting is not to be taken lightly in Eastern philosophy.  This philosophy believes that the lungs are the organ that is connected to the emotion of grief.  One of the best ways to help clean out the negative energy is by chanting.  Chanting ‘Om’ 10-100 times daily is best.  Chanting the word ‘Om’ brings a high vibration to the heart and lungs helping them heal and connect to the universal energy and our souls.  When we are aligned then we are able to release and let go of grief and make better choices in our life.  You know this is beginning to work when unexpected money comes your way.  This means you have released some past grief and your well on your way to a healthier, happier you.
  2. Fresh Air: This goes especially for those of us who work in the confines of a closed in building, when you have the opportunity go out and breathe in some fresh air of Mother Nature.  Go to the beach, a park or just take a short walk outside if this is all the time you have.  Breathing fresh air helps more oxygen into your system helping break up stagnation and depression.000017937187
  3. There is always time for a little exercise:  From some simple walking, qi gong, tai chi, yoga, sundo to any other fun physical activity.  The more you can get blood circulating in a positive flow the better your mood will be.  All it takes is 5-10 minutes extra a day and you should begin to notice the difference.  Make time for your healing, you deserve it.Remember you have the power to take charge of your life and control your emotions.  Now go out and make a positive change to help your body, mind and spirit.  Enjoy!
